Gülüşün Kalır Bende
I am here again with a mini album of 4 songs called “Eskiden”. I wanted this album to herald spring and decided to release it on March 1, 2024. Unlike the works in my previous releases, in this work, I included for the first time two of my compositions, "Eskiden" and "Yürüdüm Sokaklarda” whose lyrics also belong to me. You will hear more compositions with lyrics written by me in my future works. This mini album includes the album titled 'Ben' by dear İlhan Yabantaş, which was sung many years ago by my dear Kazım Koyuncu, which I have been singing in concerts for years. I hope you will listen with pleasure. I also composed and sang dear Ahmet Telli's poem titled “ Gülüşün Kalır Bende”("Your Smile Stays with Me".) As in my other works, many international talented musicians took part in this work. I owe an endless thanks to them. You will still hear my friend Ümit Armağan's arrangements and those beautiful guitar riffs. My friend made a great effort to achieve this. Again, my dear friend Cengiz Tural added a beautiful color to the work in three songs. Dear Joabe Araujo played the bass guitar of 3 songs from Brazil with superior virtuousness as always. Again, I thank you very much for this nice contribution. I would like to thank my dear Yiğit Alp Onat for the cello party he included in my work : Translated lyrics in English: Don't look for contradictory meanings As autumn ends and the waters foam The wound caused by your never-healing smile There is an abyss, there is an executioner every night A new war begins every night Pain becomes sound, sound becomes crazy rain Every place I take shelter is mentioned with your name I enter, the streets are patrolled. Your smile also adds to my identity The day ends, your smile remains with me more
